Description
- Design: The most distinctive feature is its pair of sharp, pointed, curved beaks that resemble a cow's horns when the instrument is open. The handles are typically curved or angled at a significant bend (around 90 degrees in some cases) relative to the beaks to allow easy access to the posterior mandibular area.
- Function: The beaks are designed to fit into the furcation area (the space where the roots diverge) of the multi-rooted lower molars, below the gum line and often below the crest of the bone. This allows the clinician to apply a powerful wedging and lifting (elevating) force, which helps expand the bone and release the tooth from its socket with minimal trauma to surrounding tissue.
- Usage: It is particularly effective for teeth with strong, bifurcated roots or in cases of significant bone loss where traditional forceps struggle to gain an adequate crown grip.

- Material: Typically crafted from high-grade, corrosion-resistant surgical stainless steel, such as AISI 410 or 440A, ensuring durability and the ability to withstand repeated sterilization.
- Sterilization: Fully autoclavable and reusable, meeting high clinical hygiene standards.
- Handle: Features an ergonomic, often textured or grooved, non-slip grip to provide maximum control and reduce hand fatigue during procedures. Some models feature holes in the handle to further reduce weight.
- Finish: Available in mirror, matte, or satin finishes to reduce light reflection and improve visibility in the surgical field.

xReturns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
